Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk Therapy can be a therapeutic way to enjoy a beautiful and natural setting, while creating deep and lasting change through healing conversations. We can sense intuitively that nature makes us feel better. Being outside has a way of bringing us to the present moment and helping us be truly mindful. Nature also is known to regulate our nervous system which has a huge impact on our mental health. There has been research proving that walk and talk therapy has incredible benefits.

I offer walk and talk therapy at several trails around Arvada Colorado. You can set the pace for our walks, and we can always rest on a bench, or switch to a phone call or telehealth if you are uncomfortable for any reason. There are of course some risks to confidentiality when we are walking and talking, in the case that we may run into people that you or I know. I go over this more in my consent form.  You and I can work out what we'll do should those situations arise, such as say "good to see you but we're in a meeting!".

Contact me if you're interested and we can talk about if you're a good candidate for walk and talk therapy. Then we can work out the details and I can answer any questions you may have.  Happy trails!
